This week was spent ideating, sketching, modelling and researching. A new technique to help with the ideation phase is to write down a number of words that I can associate with the Windsor chair, grab one a day and research the word and its synonyms. From there I can draw some forms that come to mind in regards to the word. I have posted all the models and words that I researched.

I noticed that the forms that do look like chairs sometimes resemble a Hans Wegner chair. I believe there's a marriage that can be achieved, of the Windsor and Wegner, and through iteration a contemporary form will blossom.

Here are the sketches and models that were done during the week, in order.

New Objective: How can my furniture forms embody their ideal, and instill eternity for future generations to admire?
